This was an image from an early flight over the bog on Vargas Island in Clayoquot Sound, BC. We were on our way up the coast looking for surf and a place to camp for an editorial I'd been working on and almost didn't notice this scene as we were flying away from the sunrise. Glad I looked back and we turned the helicopter around for a few photos.
